Alice is my oldest first cousin. She is 86 years young. She was widowed a few years ago but recently fell in love again and got married. This is the card and picture she sent me. Aren't they a handsome couple. He's 90 and they met at a dance. They still go out dancing two days a week. I am posting this because I want folks to know that it's possible to fall in love at any age. Having a companion or a mate will keep joy in one's life. Thank you for reading this. Salud.
Dear Miz Tonia - yes, indeed - she is always making jokes and laughing - she told me last year, the whole family got new knees for Christmas! Each year, she makes everyone a gift using one of her many knitting machines. She's also taking piano lessons and plays the organ at her church & is the host of the annual Titus family reunion. Greetings Fred - I'm so very glad that you've dropped by & yes indeed Alice actually knew this man before years ago when she and another husband used to run into him and his wife - actually, they were friends. So he became widowed and well as is the way of nature, these two got together!

I love this. My dad (86) and his sweetheart (84) have been together for almost 20 years. They play golf and dance every weekend. I thank God for her every day.

Miz Elsie - Alice was the oldest of 14 kids and she went to school in Muscatine, Iowa - she enjoys playing the organ at church, still takes piano lessons, still works on her knitting machines and hosts the family reunion - she stays pretty busy - she's also on line and she might turn green when she sees this post but I'll tell her anyway.

An old sea captain I knew and adored married in his late 80's to a woman in her 80's. They made everyone around them happy. They still had a lot of life in them. This is a good article. I liked it.
