Fallen Snow

Snow is falling

So soft and gentle

Not hurried in it's endeavor

Mother Nature is quietly painting her canvas

I wake to find that my world has changed 

Stepping outside to experience it's beauty

The picture is breathtaking

Soft drifts of snow

Leading into the blanket that covers the ground

All that can be heard is the quiet Sshhh...

Such a beautiful sound

And at that very moment

All is right in the world
