My daughter has been making these for several years. She had already planned to make them again this year. When she asked her little cousin, Tessia which cookie she wanted her to make for the gift tins this year she said the one with the Hershey Kiss stuck in the center. Sarita told her she was already making those did she want to pick another and she said no she likes them. This recipe won the Pillsbury Bake Off in 1957. No wonder I like them that's the year I was hatched! She got the recipe from Pilsbury Best Cookie Book but it's also in Best of the Bake Off Cookbook and on the Pilsbury web site. These would be great to make with kids.
