Baking Chocolate Spritz Cookies

Last night my great-neice Tesia spent the night. Today her and my daughter, Sarita baked some cookies Tessia picked out of one of my daughter's Christmas Cookie magazines. She picked out Chocolate Spritz cookies from Holiday Cookies, 2005 from Land O' Lakes. I helped a little, mostly by being the dish washer but I also helped Tesia with using the Kitchen Aid to mix the dough. She did really well and pressed all the cookies onto the baking sheets. She also dipped most of them into the glaze and sprinked on the colored sugars and sprinkles.

Here are plates of the finsished cookies. Tesia took a filled tin of cookies home for her Mom and Dad to enjoy as well.

my neice always helps make cookies with my brother and sister-in-law. she loves it. Looks like your daughter and neice had fun. they did a great job.

I cooked cookies and muffins today too and gave them to my siblings as part of a Christmas gift.

I'm sure the girls had a ball.

When I was a kid, I baked fancy cookies every year for Christmas. With 6 kids, mom was busy. I used to always make these...and red and white candy cane cookies...
