Now, and Always-- A Holiday wish for our Troops

Now, and always, I wish to thank the men and women of the armed forces who are serving our country abroad. I thank you for taking the oath, and stepping forward to protect our country, our ideals and our interests in whatever capacity you serve. I pray for your safety, and your solace during this difficult time for you, and wait with your families for your return.

May the peace that surpasses all understanding be with each of you, and also with the loved ones your hearts so desire.

It might be nice for our troops to read where all commentators call home. When so far from home, just seeing your home state's name in print might be a support. Thanks for all comments. I'm sure every soldier will appreciate them.

Mariana, with todays White House and PPentagon tagging our citizen soldiers, you have to add : their wives and children who love them dearly.

Meanwhile we have sent them off to a country that thinks nothing of blowing up their neighbor's wives and children.

Yes indeed - the wives and the children as well - sorry about that - their mothers, dads, extended families and friends - everyone is affected when someone goes off to war - our worlds are never the same - everyone has a place...many blessings. Salud.
