I wrote an article about how I was hoping to get home last night but I was met with delays on both of my flights that was going to put me into an airport different than the one I wanted (further away) and much later at night. The good news is that I'll be headed to the original airport that I wanted. The bad news is that it's the next morning and I'm still not there. In fact, my luggage may be going to LAX while I'm going to Orange County. I'm currently stuck in the Denver International Airport. I had mentioned that in the past, 3 of the 4 flights I've had with frontier have had problems that involve me not making the connecting flight. Well, we can add to that list and now 5 out of the 6 flights I've had with Frontier have worked out. That's right, they've gone from a success of 1 out of 4 with me to 1 out of 6. Unfortunately, I had to wait almost 2 1/2 hours last night after I landed to get through the customer service (I had 40 people ahead of me) and get a shuttle to a hotel 15 min away (another expense I wasn't planning on). I had to fight (and wait) for a $5 meal voucher this morning that I was given while being told that I shouldn't expect it in the future since it's not in their policy to give meal vouchers if weather delays strand you in the airport overnight. Come on, it's $5 (actually, only $4.60 for them) and it helps ensure that you have a return customer. Well, Sadly I have 2 muffins here but I can't eat them. Part of going home is that I have my routine checkups with the doctor and I am planning on stopping at the hospital on the way home from the airport to get blood drawn (checking cholesterol) so I have to fast. Oh well, if all goes to plan, I'll actually make it back home to CA today. Heck, I was lucky because I think I almost got 3 hours of sleep, YAY! No matter what, I'm very thankful that the only hardship I've endured (minus the exam yesterday) involved travel. There are many worse things in life. Wish me luck, I'm hoping I make it home.

good luck getting home today. Airlines seem to have no consideration for its customers anymore but hang in there. You do have those wonderful muffins to eat after your test!
Well, let's hope being home will make it all worth it and your parents will be so happy to see you that you'll forget the sacrifices you made to get there.:)
