In Boise ID there is this out door museum of sorts. It's the Idaho Human Rights Education Center. Here is the website to more about it .....
After library day with my kids we walk over to what my boy likes to call, "The waterfall park..."
This place has waterfalls & a lot of seating, so you can contemplate what is written in the stone of what influential people have said over the years regarding world peace, freedom, and equality. I took a few pictures & I hope you can read some of the quotes. If not please look at the pictures by clicking on them on the top right corner (I tell you this, because I never realized until last month that we could do that LOL!)

There is a separate section of this area that is dedicated to Anne Frank. There is a statue of her standing on a chair holding her diary behind her back. There are a few quotes and there is also a staircase leading up to where the statue is standing.

There is a quote talking about how their hearts beat with every step they heard from the soldiers coming up the stairs.

Pretty neat. Boise is full of interesting things like this. They have many parks & they have bike trails everywhere! Oh & if you visit Boise just know that EVERY residential street has speed bumps & dips! And the driveways are like jumping a curb! I am not even joking! So get your alignment fixed after visiting ;o)!
Thanks for looking cause I know you will say thanks for sharing! ;o)

"May this memorial stand as a tribute to her memory, as a warning to any who would dare trespass upon the freedom of others, and as an inspiration to all whose lives are devoted to love, respect, understanding, peace, and good will among the totality and diversity of the human family. May this memorial inspire each of us to contemplate the moral implications of our civic responsibilities."

If you want full size pictures in your article, I found out how to do that--finally. Took me months before I figured it out. After you have loaded up your photos and they are lined up at the bottom under the article you are writing, disable any pop-up blocker you might have. Then double click on the photo. It will pop-up in a new window. You can drag it to the article and drop it in where you want it.

It has been DECADES since I've been to Boise. Used to take weekend road trips during my years at UofM in Missoula. Now, all I do is cut through the Idaho panhandle. And Couer d'Alene has sure changed since 1972! OH! And how is Wallace doing? Is prostitution legal again? It was amusing to me that it was legal...then, I remember they made it illegal.
