Well, I admit that I am terrible about taking snacks in for parties and events at the kids schools -- I am always afraid I'm going to take the wrong thing and the kids won't like it or it will have unknown peanuts and I'll be responsible for some horrible medical incident. But Mac has a holiday party coming up and every day I walk into the school room I'm faced by the piece of paper that says (in big bold letters) -- What Would You Like to Bring? I think Like is a bit strong in this context -- but clearly the list is not going to go away and I should step up and face my fears and put *something* down. I could buy something or I could make something (I happen to be a good baker when I put my mind to it) and as long as it's peanut free (see above about being responsible for some horrible medical incident!) it would be fine. But I seem incapable of an actual decision -- sigh.
Suggestions please?! Save me from myself please :-)

Good Luck and hope these help..
We created a log cabin out of cut celery. We used peanut butter to chink them together but you could use any spread. The trees were made from brocolli. We mad a split rail fence out of carrot sticks. Gosh, I can't remember the rest but it was great fun. The only problem was convincing the teacher to let the kids eat the food! There wasn't one vegetable left that day!
You could create many things out of healty snacks!
Tanya -- I love the Pillsbury website -- they have great stuff -- thanks for the reminder!
Trish -- I'm going to try your vegetable sculpture at home with the kids -- maybe I can trick Mac (who is 3) into actually eating a vegetable. So far I don't think he has touched a vegetable since he stopped eating baby food -- stubborn, stubborn, stubborn!!
