Today's Des Moines Register includes a powerful letter to the editor in support of Chris Dodd's campaign for the presidency.
When I first meet an individual, I read this person by looking into their eyes. The first time I had the opportunity of meeting U.S. Sen. Chris Dodd, I did the same. Then I heard him speak. A lump came to my throat because I knew that I was listening to the truth.
I then found out that he carries a copy of the Constitution in his pocket each and every day.
He understands and represents a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
Webster's Dictionary tells us the definition of a Democrat is one who practices social equality. That says it all. Dodd's the best. He is also the only leading Democratic candidate who has worn the uniform.
