Chip or Dale?

My husband and I were out scouting for elk this year on the Mogollon Rim in Arizona when we came across this little guy. We were real quiet and we were watching him do whatever it is that little chipmunks do. After a quite some time he finally noticed that we were watching him. He became quite offended, gave us a dirty look, and headed up a tree.

Awwww...I wish I'd seen a chipmunk when we lived in Arizona. We lived in Tucson for over 5 years (we're from Illinois), and we saw plenty of spiders and other ooky bugs and things. Couldn't wait to come home! What a cute little dude, though, and I have to say you take great photos. Thanks for sharing!
