Tips for running multiple characters for optimized mining

For a true experience in insanity and gaming system torture you can do this and run a little mining op with 5 accounts.

Empire Space:
3 covetors
1 hauler
1 BC with director 3 and laser link

miners fill a can in 7 minutes, hauler can carry 10k (pvp char in a badger II).
BC is a myrmidon with t2 drones so ore thieves think twice usually.

In 0.0 if I'm feeling insane I have:

2 covetors
1 hauler (mastodon w/ 24k)
1 guard (BC or BS fitted for tanking)
1 covop scout

The guard warps in first, shoots all NPC's in the belt so they aggro him, then the mining team warps in and the fun can start. The scout is placed at a gate and scans for potential enemies entering the system.
Depending on the ore you mine you can make several hundreds of ISK this way per hour
