My Husband is Leaving

I am a little depressed tonight. The reason for my being depressed is because my husband called me this afternoon to have me make airline reservations for him to go to Boise, Idaho. The reason that he is going is because the real estate market is not booming right now and he is trying to find a way to make a living to support us. We have friends that have a buisness that is doing awesome! They invited my husband to come stay with them and work for them. They have been asking him for almost a year, now he is going.

Our friends business is doing so well that they just built an indoor pool in their home. I am so jealous....lol

If this works out we will be moving to Boise, which I am a little excited for since I already have a new friend, Birdee that lives there.....yay!!

I am not thrilled about the timing of this trip because my daughter's birthday is today and instead of celebrating her day, my husband is at his office wrapping things up and I am sitting here on Gather. .....(sigh) I have a feeling that I will be spending alot of time on here in the next few weeks.....(another sigh).

We're here for you. Boise is a cool place, or at least, it was years ago when I visited. I have relatives in Idaho, both in the Twin Falls area and in Salmon. That's too bad he's not there for your daughter's birthday, but he's doing the responsible thing for a Dad, making sure she and her Mom are cared for. An indoor pool - I'm jealous, too!

I am sorry that he has to go away to make a living. I have been hearing a lot of people say they have to move because of employment opportunities. Good luck.

You should try an on line, at home business...you can all be together and make lots of money. Selling Nazi memorabilia is a very lucrative money maker. Buy a flag for $20-$25...sell it for $400-$500. Native American artifacts make big bucks, too. Almost anything collectible can go for quite a profit. You only have to spend a few hours and have the rest of the time to be together as a family. And there are so many sites out there you can sell on; they do half the work for you. Wouldn't it be nice to make a couple transactions and come up with enough profit to cover and entire week's pay?

Good luck, I was away for over a year chasing work in 3 countries before it worked out for us. Now I am home every night and driving my wife nuts LOL.
