Review of POLAR LIGHTS by USPS

 

The stamps depicted below caught my imagination. I wanted to share them with you. I thought they'd be great holiday stamps, unfortunately I'll  have to use them for other purposes.

I'll have to take a look at them at the USPS.
That's as close as I'll get to the Northern Lights.

i used to have some great pics from family in Alaska, of the Northern lights. When I lived in sarasota in the 70's, the lights were so bright, we could see them nightly for months! Only time it has happened so far south, i think, 1972.

Those are such beautiful stamps. I hope they still have them to sell after the Christmas rush is over. I won't even drive past the mail boxes at a postal station during the Christmas stampede!
We have a small contract station here near the house.. 2nd time I went in the postmistress called me by name..

wow - they are so beautiful - I love the ability to be creative and enjoy purchasing different styles of stamps from the PO when I need postage :)

Very cool, I got to see the northern lights a few years back....walked out onto my deck and had the most awsome lights show going on! It's good to live in the country where the ambient light doesn't get in the way.
