Today is a SNOW day!! It's still snowing!

Well, school was cancelled today! It's a snow day because the roads are not clear.. They are very snow packed.

We put up or store bought christmas tree (we could not make it out to cut or own down in the weather) last night with the fire roaring. The fire is still going and we are keeping warm while looking at the tree.

So today I ahve to figure out how to get sweat stains from the arm pits of shirts. I ahve a few shirts that are pretty aweful looking and I am afraid they have gotten so bad that they can't be cleaned. I have tried soaking them in bleach and also in peroxide.

Now I am turing to my gather friends for advice.. What is you best homemade remidy for pit stained shirts? Please help!

It's only raining here, but we needed it bad. As far as the shirts, it may be the brand of deodorant at the root of the problem..? I used to have some that wouldn't really come clean and were kinda' stiff under the arms because of that. Other than that, don't know... ha ha.

I have no idea besides get new shirts. Sorry it is snow day where you are at. If you want you can send some of that snow to me. It is hot down here in Florida.

Well, if you've already tried bleach and peroxide, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try Spray n' Wash and let it sit for a bit.

Yep, it's been raining and raining and raining. This is fine because we do need it bad but does it have to be on the weekend??? LOL

Rebekka- you should be getting some good rain right now huh? We are getting 4-8 inches of additional snow today, and the same is said for tomorrow!

If you have washed and dried the garmet there is probably no way to remove the stain. If they are new you may try some carbonated water, just saturate the underarm of the shirt rub it together between your fist. Then rinse it and throw in washer with other shirts and other clothes you bleach. Sprite, club soda, any carbonated water. Good to carry half bottle in auto, for those spills on clothes. Will not bleach colors.
