Macy's Gift Cards, $25 only?

Anyone know why a Macy's gift card only comes in $25 amounts?  Macy's is an expensive store, and you can't really get anything for $25.  I think they should offer $50 cards as well like they do most other things!

yeah, I am saving up to get two $25's, but I just thought it was odd given that everywhere else gives the optoin of $25 or $50.

Just buy two 25.00 cards, that is what I did, and they have great sales, and I buy lots of stuff there, for less than half price, got a bag I was admiring that was $75.00, saw it on sale had a couple of coupons and it was a 20% sale day all thought out the store, and I paid 16.23 for it, and I love it and it is a "designer bag" , go for it,

I love the fact that I can get the amount of rewards to get the cards even $10.oo at a time. that isnt great but fast and easy to get. If you get a surprise Birthday etc; pop up for someone you dont usually buy for, those are nice to have on hand.

We have a Macy's here and it is very expensive.....lol My daughter is saving 2 $25 macy's cards and adding $15 from her allowance for a bottle of perfume she wants from there I think the perfume is like $62.50 plus tax

Yeah, I was kind of wondering the same thing!!!!! I wonder if you're allowed to double up cards.. I think it's borders, you can only use one card online at a time.

I'll have to check on the terms of use for Macys.

BTW, I just noticed we're neighbors!! Well, kind of. Not sure where you are in Grand Rapids, but I am also in GR! So howdy neighbor!

I wish they had them in larger sizes because they only let you use 4 online. When you call in, they say you can't use more than a particular amount, depending on who you talk to, but that is not true. When I saved enough macy cards I'd already been told by someone I talked to about the camera, that you can use as many as you want if you call in and order. So when ready to order, I called and got someone who insisted this wasn't true. I asked to talk to a superviser. That guy wasn't the super but he knew it could be done and took care of it. I used numerous cards and got my camera. :) Just so you know, if you save them up, you can call in and order via phone. :)
