Scrooge - The Musical 6 down 4 to go

Last night we completed the 6th performance of Scrooge - The Musical.  We have only got 4 more to go!  I am already getting post performance depression!  I am enjoying this so much!  I find myself talking with a cockney accent even when I'm not on stage!  LOL....  We've been in rehearsal since Oct. 4th,  4 nights a week and I am loving every minute of it!  I'm sad to know it's coming to an end.  I can't wait until my next acting adventure.  I have volunteered to help with the next 2 productions which are a teen production and a childrens production.  After that is an adult comedy which I will audition for.  I hope to have some photos and a video to share with my Gather friends soon!  I know there is a DVD of us coming, but I'm not sure when it will be made available to the cast members.  As soon as I know, you'll know!

Theater atmosphere is very infectious! I know what you mean about the post production depression. I'm glad to hear that you are auditioning for the comedy, too.

3 shows left.... 1 this afternoon and 2 next weekend! Having the cast party next Sunday the 16th! I can't believe it's almost over....

Hello Trudy, I have sure been thinking about you in doing this performance, I know you have been having a blast. Several years ago I helped in directing an Easter drama at my church. We worked so hard for couple months. The drama was presented to the church on Easter Sunday. The following Monday, I was depressed that I cried and cried-- I finally had to leave work about 2:00 that day I was in such a bad state.

Enjoy every moment of it while you can. Great to hear from you!

How fun! I used to be in shows when I was in junior high and high school and it was always so much fun. The camaraderie was the best! Glad you're having so much fun with your show!!!

I hope it all went well! I think it would be such fun to be involved in the theater in some capacity -- not acting since I can't act at all :-)
