I am an avid reader. I read a lot of different authors, anything from James Patterson to Stephen King to Nora Roberts. My current obsession is my VC Andrews collection. I've been reading the De Beers series, which starts with Willow and ends with Hidden Leaves. I'm on book 4, Into the Woods right now. My problem is that Into the Woods tells Willow's mother's story but it's set in too modern of a time. For Willow to be 18-20 in the first book which is copyrighted I believe around 2001 or 2002, and then to see her mom's story copyrighted in 2003 or 2004 and it's set in almost the same time period as Willow and Wicked Forest are..... that bothers me. There is talk of computers, email, CDs, etc in Grace's story (Willow's mother), and yet it seems to be the exact same time period in which Willow lives. That doesn't make sense.
I really wish a clearer time frame for this particular series was given, to make it easier for the reader to understand when these novels take place.
