December Praise Reports

As promised, I am posting a praise report as a companion to the Prayer Chain. This article will focus on answered prayers and blessings. If something good has happened to you, even if you have not requested prayer, feel free to post it!

Right now I am pleased to tell everyone that Emmett's little Jared is Home... and doing well...

Also, I am very positive in my feeling about the job I interviewed for yesterday. I think I might just actually have a chance! Won't know 'til after the holidays, but we're talking about a career, not just punching a time clock... so it's worth waiting for if I get it.

Like the prayer chain, I will keep checking back and adding to the article as need be. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I am just grateful my son let me sleep until 5:45. It's a great day already!!
So glad to hear about the little one coming home - thanks for sharing that. Also, I hope you get the job that'll be more than just punching a time clock. I'm happy that I'm not sick like I was for so long earlier. This is such a nice thing that you're doing. Thanks!

Praise the Lord for answered prayer and praise Him for prayers to be answered yet. I'm praying that you get the job. Would that mean we won't see or hear as much from you?
Please keep praying for my wife. She had a very rough week this week. She had chemo last Friday and has been very sick ever since. I'm afraid this won't be much of a Christmas for her since the next treatment is just four days before Christmas and if she is that sick or worse, we won't be able to make the trip up the mountain. I praise the Lord for His saving grace and loving even me enough to die on the cross for my sins. Have you ever heard the song, "When He was on the cross, I was on His mind"?
Powerful.

Thanks back, everyone. And Danielle: yes. I remember those sleep-deprived days. I remember the despair over wondering when you'd ever feeling fully rested again. It IS a good day when you get a little extra shuteye, eh?

Thanks, Harrel. I will add your wife to the prayer chain. As for the job... I can't deny that working 40 hours a week will make it harder to keep up in here, but it's a very fulfilling job so I do hope to get it. More than just a job... it's a chance to be a part of something special and unique.

Thank you for the wonderful idea! As for the Praise side of things I am just overwhelmed with thanks for how much has been givento me and brought into my life. I am surrounded by so much good I am truly thankful. I am also thankful for th bad I experienced because of what I learned from it and because now that I have good I appreciate it!!! I am so thankful!!!!

Great idea, Lydia. We aren't thankful enough. :-) I'm praising God that we only got a tiny bit of snow and that it will warm up next week and rain.

Sherrie, I am not even LOOKING for another job. The only reason I applied for this one is because it was where I already go to volunteer. But honestly, there could not be many jobs I'd be more well-suited for.

I need prayers for my friend, Melanie. Her husband left her and her three children, she can't make ends meet, feed her family, or clothe them and won't have a Christmas. I'm doing what I can to help her out (I just bought her kids $80 in clothes at a second hand store last night). She needs prayers and support. She's just so alone right now.

I am glad that Jared is doing better and that you will have a chance for good job soon.

I pray that those in need will find an answer.

As for me, I prayed for work and took a temp job that developed into ten straight days of work including one12 hour day. Almost an over blessing. lol I also got a call back on a job I interviewed for this summer and really wanted. Please pray that I pass all their requirements. I am starting on the tenth.

I see on both sections of the prayer chain people have posted praise reports in the comments, there. Great to see the results come in from the beautiful effort of prayer.
I pray for your wife Harrel, that she receive the healing hand of the LORD soon and that He is comforting her and you during these trying times. I praise in prayer a plea heard for Jared and pray for all of you that have taken out prayers for others. We are truly blessed to have such an AWESOME God!

prayer is one of the things that so many do not consciously value but unconsciously never stop using...the power of prayer is mentally satisfying and fulfills a need hard to quantify.

as so many others above have noted, it is one of those things we all can do to help others too!
