I have just finished reading my 8th book in 2 weeks- I amaze myself sometimes. I really enjoy books on memoirs like My Lobotomy by Howard Dully; Blood Makes the Grass Grow Green, by Johnny Rico- both of those books made you cry, laugh and hate the system.
My interests flucuate, but I really enjoy memoirs, autobiography, true crime, and any book on life in other countries- especially if the people in those countries are treated inhumanly.
I am getting ready to do a book review on Have You Seen Her, (which comes out in Feb) for Random House. An amazing story that everyone should read- how many times have you walked past and ignored someone asking for money- or homeless?
My other interest vary as well- I teach college - Psychology courses and Medical Law and Ethics- I love teaching - especially when it is online (as mine are now). I worked for the military for about 25 years in civil service as a psychologist- but got tired of the politics and said "I'm outta here."

I can't wait to read your review. I'm more interested in reading fiction novels myself, but am not opposed to reading non-fiction as well. Have You Seen Her sounds interesting, and the title is already intriguing. Thanks for the information!

(If you haven't yet, please take a look at my novel, The Friend Behind the Mask--First Chapter, I've entered it in the Court TV Search for the Next Great Crime Writer contest, and would appreciate your vote and comments. Thanks!!!)
