Armed alarmists missed the armistice
with the harmless farming gendarme.
Their armies were arming armadas
while the warmhearted farmers disarmed.
This disharmony earmarked Karmic harm
for the warmonger armies still arming.
For the farsighted gendarme saw the farce faraway
yet were disarmingly armorless against harming.
So the farming gendarmes came up with a plan
to outcharm and disarm the charmless alarmists
by the use of harmonics to rewarm their hearts.
But the alarmists were so very uncharming, it was alarming.
So instead, the farmwives had a housewarming party
serving up marmalade and lukewarm tea.
Harmonicas were played to farmyard sounds,
sending the alarmist armadas rushing back out to sea.
