Free Borders Gift card money!

I have a borders gift card with $3.53 left on it.  I know I won't ever use it so first person to ask I will email the numbers off the back and you can use it for an online order.  I know it's not much, but hey, it's free!

I had $5 and some cents left on a gift card at Amazon.com and I thought I would never use it so had forgotten about it. Then this week I ordered 2 books I wanted from them as they had them cheaper than anywhere else I could find them. Imagine my surprise when they took that leftover gift card money and subtracted it from my bill. That was a nice treat, since I had forgotten I even had the money there!

I still have my first $20 card from Gather. We live an hour or more from the nearest Borders and I never seem to get there. I never thought of using it online. You can do that?
