She Did It..She Did It...She Did It...

I have to admit I was very pessimistic this morning when I woke to 3 inches of snow on the ground due to my daughter taking her driver's test this morning at 8:45!!

I told her to reschedule, then I relented and said let's just do it.

She has been having trouble parrell paking.  Instead of watching her take the test I sat in the Lobby.  I stood up to look outside at the road and there she was leaving the parking lot with the instructor.  That meant she did the parrallel park fine!!!

When they came back she was all smiles and she PASSED!!!

Whoo hoo for her!!!  It's a Happy Day...we went to the local diner for breakfast to celebrate!!

I remember my test I was so nervous but I passed.

Excellent, Danielle, I am very happy for your daughter! I remember how nervous I was when I took my test...I was so relieved when it was over and I knew I wouldn't have to go through it again. Congratulations to her!!

Danielle, congratulations to your daughter! Tell her not to worry about that parrallel parking thing! there are people out there that have been driving for 20 years that still can't parrallel park! She's way ahead of them ;-)

When my oldest had to take the written test I told him he'd get to drive home if he passed and got his permit...I guess it worked, he did. Congrats to her.

If she did it on her first time, that is even more amazing (not sure if she did)! But congratulations. Now the sleepless nights begin - LOL! Hopefully not.

I couldn't parallel park, so I didn't pass the first time.

Anyway, you must be very proud of her. Good to hear good news from you, Danielle.

CONGRATS to the daughter, CONDOLENCES to you (now you will be worried sick for at least a year every time she takes the car alone) I pray for you both :-) but she sounds like a very smart girl, I could never parallel park, even after 40 years still don't do it well!
