These are my photos for the grave yard edition of scavanger hunt 7. I love doing these hunts. Some of the headstones are just so pretty some are plain with neat little details engraved on them. Almost 75% of the newer headstones in our area have some sort of flowers ingraved on them. The older ones I find to me more interesting but harder to find. This is one of the older stones with flowers a very common find in the area.

The top of a very tall pillar stone.

This is one of my favorite stones, the female figure holdes a wreath of flowers I would love to know who the statue represents. It reminds me of a Greek Godest.

This is one of the more detailed flower engravings. I would have loved to have been able to get the whole stone in but due to the weather and shadows I could not get it and shot the detail of the flowers.

a very pretty double stone

Here is a couple of the prettest corner flower details

and here is just a couple things I seen one my hunt that I wanted to share. A little dark eyed Junco followed me around I guess to see if i brought any food which almost all the people do who visit there. This is as close as I could get.

and of coures cant forget the fuzzies

here are a few stones that have flowers that I have posted in the past if you are interested.

I see we are no longer connected. Any particular reason for that? Just curious.
