So far I've found a couple on my own:
- Bob Collins wonders What's China got? (see capture)
- Midmorning talks about the Best books of the year (11:06 ET / 10:06 CT on the air or streaming)
- Eggnog: A Potent Family Tradition (Our own Kevin Weeks on NPR.org!)
But honestly, scrolling through my RSS reader is starting to feel like a fulltime job. I'm looking for your recommendations / media picks for today - please share your recommended finds & links in the comments!

I've seen Wallis speak, read his wonderful book God's Politics: Why the Right Gets it Wrong and the Left Doesn't Get it and highly recommend Tippett's piece.
Next week, she'll be talking with Rick Warren, author of the very successful book, The Purpose Driven Life. That should be a good program, too!

Not NPR/MPR/Gather But very interesting. Especially from the source of the article
HEY,dumb question. How do I get a web link to highlight?
Gary, I'll e-mail you the answer. I wanted to know the same thing, not dumb at all. Look how many people can't do it! Julia helped me out.
Julia, my favorite radio show is KFAI's Louisiana Rhythms. And I've recently heard one of the best show's yet. Karl Smelker hosted it on Friday, November 23rd. It's in the archives, but will be gone this coming Friday. I wish I knew how to podcast it. You can have a listen here. Just scroll down a tad to Louisiana Rhythms and stream it. I thought it started slowly for the first seven or so minutes, but then picked up with the most danceable tunes ever.
What I found intriguing is that during the middle of the day these kids had our ear. Imagine, listening to children and giving them the opportunity for respectful dialogue with one another as well as listeners. (Hey, I just remembered that I called in and talked for a minute on-air.)
