It is very messy here in Detroit it snowed and then rained all day yesterday. I am surpised that we do not have a flooded basement from the amount of rain we recieved.
My stairs that lead out to the driveway is totally iced over, trying to figure out how to take my dog out for a walk. Also, trying to figure what to wear to keep warm out there. Keep on going on ;-o
Really, really windy right now in NE Ohio. We are getting wind gusts in the 50 mph range. Later on this afternoon we are suppossed to get the first heavy snow of the year. They are calling for up to 15 inches in my area.
Today: Scattered rain and snow showers before noon, then snow showers likely. The snow could be heavy at times. Cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 27 by 4pm. Breezy, with a west wind between 20 and 22 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Tonight: Periods of snow showers. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 21. Breezy, with a west wind around 22 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
Was icy last night, I fell my rump. Went to the store and fishtailed there and back. IT WAS AWESOME!...temperature went uo to abiout 45 on the shoreline and melted all the fun ice away :( Well at least the highway was clear :) last night all I hear were sirens, and on my way back from the store I saw someone sideswipe a cop because they were going to fast and blew through the stop sign...smart!
oh boy, Marvin I am glad I stayed off the roads last night. Sounds like you had fun though! I went hiking this morning up at the old hospital and the trails were total ice. We slipped slide away, a lot of fun!! Keep on going on ;-o
