One of the great things about participating in this year's National Novel Writing Month was that our area had a really fun group of writers who got together for write-ins twice a week.
Our area coordinator, Ajacks did an awesome job this year ogranizing the write-ins as well as last night's TGIO (Thank God It's Over!) party. It was a great chance to share some memories and have a few laughs at the end of 50,000 words in 30 days.
She also brought little writing gift bags for everyone.

We also had the Nanowrimo Winner Certificate on display for all to see.

And here are some pictures of the authors as we celebrated our writing efforts for November.

We are planning to keep in touch and we're already thinking about next November, although at the moment, it's very good to be done!

There was a TGIO party here in San Francisco, the birthplace of the movement. I couldn't go but a lot of people said they didn't because the area of town was a little too frightening for women walking at night.
I did get to miss Chris Baty at one of our group writ-ins thought. Real nice and interesting guy.
Oh well.
