I just had to share this with you all. We’ve had freezing rain since about noon today. Everything is covered in ice. Well my fuzzy kids Coco and Indy were asking to go out and I saw that the patio was just covered in ice and decided to open the door very slowly. You see, they like to race each other to the back of the yard and around, with Coco always in the lead, Indy is such a southern gentleman. I tried to open the sliding glass door but was having a hard time since it was frozen shut. Finally I got it open and yelled “NO, DON’T RUN!” as they darted past me. Well, they jumped off the stoop and started sliding right off the patio into the ice covered grass! I laughed so hard I almost fell over! Coco, always being first, started sliding and her little brother Indy, who is about three times her size, came sliding into her and taking her out, much to both their surprise! The looks on their faces, was just too funny. Then, when they decided to come in Coco jumped up on the door like she always does and she fell right on her little face. She didn’t try that again. Thank God that both of them didn’t hurt themselves! I wish I had my camcorder out. I just can’t stop laughing every time I think about it. Oh no, they are asking to go out again! What an entertaining evening I’m having! I hope my sides don’t burst from the laughter! Maybe I should get them ice skates!
