Hey guys who have been keeping up on this car wreck with my daughter. The ins. adjuster finally got out there and looked and said they would only give her 1,500 for her car, which cost her more. It was in good shape too. They also mubled something about charging her storage fees and taking that off the cash offer.
Now, in the meantime they are still trying to find the guy who hit her head on. He is not responding to calls, mail, etc. I told you all he had no insurance.
We also found out the plate on the car HE was driving was probably stolen. It came back registered to another guy and to a different car. the D. word cop did nothing about that.
Our ins. company who is investigating this under her underinsured motorist claim is saying they have to see if the guy has ins. elsewhere. Well stupid if he did he would not have lied to the cop at the scene.
The bigest heartache they are screwing her. So far she has not signed anything or even agreeded to her offer. Am thinking of trying to get a lawyer. This guy needs punished and found. WEll they have an address but he is ignoring our ins. co. letters.
Any good advice here?

You are dealing with your own insurance company, they should take good care of you. It would seem if they don't, you must have a state insurance commission to talk to. whatever you do, don't get the adjuster hostile. You want him/her to be your friend.
Unfortunately, I bet, the cops have bigger, badder crimes to worry about. Crumby!
Get an attorney and sue the crap out of the other driver
