Harmony
"Live in harmony with each other. Don't be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don't think you know it all!"
Romans 12:16 (New Living Translation)
As a perfectly blended quartet plays in flawless unison, so God wants his children to work together. Beautiful music is best made when each musician plays his or her part.

I like this quote. I have always thought that the human race is like a diamond. Each of us is one tiny facet of the diamond and every single facet is needed for the diamond to sparkle fully. There are no unecessary people. Each of us has a unique personality, gifts and talents to contribute to the whole. This quote expresses the same sentiment using music.

I have published the complete book here on Gather so it won't cost you anything other than time (and that well spent) to read it and thereby better understand why we have so much conflict and how we can "fix it." But if you don't like those ads on Gather it is also available, complete, at:

If you are suspicious of my offer that shows what our current system has done to you.
(If you aren't a little suspicious you are too gullible. :-)
Help me get a publishing deal with a 10 rating and a comment. I comment back.
I take your thoughts a bit farther. If each one of us is unique and has gifts given specifically to us (which we are and do!), then if we are not sharing ourselves and our gifts with God and with His people, aren't we stealing from them?
Your diamond analogy is, indeed, beautiful.
Get the elbow grease out and keep shinning all.
Please visit a wonderful photo story by a Gather friend of mine named Jessie L. You wont be disappointed! Let her know I (Mark Lange)sent you if you would!~
