A great resource I have used for food assistance, has brand name food-- boxes of food that local churches usually sell from $25.00 and then steaks usually sell cheaper or half the price of store prices.

I thought it may help someone in need this Holiday season or simply someone who needs food at a lower price due to financial difficulties.

Angel Food Ministries is great...When I have been down on my luck they came in very handy. It is a wonderful organization that this ministry has started, it reaches out through all kinds of religions and churches. Great idea bringing attention to this, Michelle. Hopefully this will help, especially during the holiday season.

Thank you for reminding me about this Michelle. My husband and I looked at the website ones, but we saw that you had to buy a package where there was a lot of prepared food in as well, so we passed on it. I will look into it again though.

We do Angel Food and I have to agree
that they are WONDERFUL!!!
For us, they're vital to our having food.
We appreicate that they are here
where we live.

We just picked up our first order this month. The variety and quality of the food is excellent. Distribution sites are located all over the country. Metro Detroit alone has 23 sites. I highly recommend Ange Food Ministeries.

Angel Food is an absolute Life Saver for our family. I'm not sure what we would do without them. Yes I do we'd live on bean, rice & pasta like we did before we found them.
Not only is the food affordable, but it's good food too!
