Gift cards and cash?

I'm curious...can you still get the gift cards when you have the cash option?  Thanks!

I just tried to go to my earnings page, but I could only cash out. I think I remember reading in the cash option invitation that I could always switch back to the gift card option, whenever I wanted to. The way I read it, it made me think that it was either one or the other, but then again maybe I understood it the wrong way.

HI there. Once you accept the invitation to the cash program, you can only receive cash. You can choose a check which comes in about 2-3 weeks or a PayPal payment which comes within 3 days. IF by chance you decide that you don't want cash anymore, you'll need to contact support by way of outside mail (not Gather mail) at support@gather.com and ask them to switch you back to the gift card option. I'd never switch back to gift cards...too limited as to what you can use them on. Cash can be spent anywhere on anything...always the right size and color, too! I just love hitting that button to cash our...gimme the money, honey!!!

honestly, once I went to the cash option, when I want a card, I just buy it using the card I got from paypal....easy as pie and you don't have to switch back and forth or remember where you are at the moment.

I guess I have never gotten to the cash option yet, as I have never been offered it, but I do have a lot of points, maybe I never made 3000 in one month, seems like it though, but I do think you can change back and forth,
