Sadly, another wonderful Thanksgiving is behind us. We had a fantastic feast, complete with a menu which served as a little precursor to dinner and made a nice momento of the holiday.
Robin made her famous taco dip, one which included jalapenos, which her and I both like. We also had a tray of various cheeses and dips along with assorted crackers.
I made my famous white wine turkey (actually I made TWO turkeys!) and gravy and mom made her famous stuffing. We had a couple of new items on the menu this year: collard greens, roasted mashed sweet potatoes and savory squash.
I used the leftover bits and pieces to make a delicious turkey soup.
We had a great time being together, enjoying the food and each others' company. It was over much too soon.
