A Letter of Introduction

Dear Gather Friends,

 Please meet my sister…..Linda B…… She joined Gather on Nov. 14, and immediately began writing/commenting. I am very proud to see she’s gotten a warm welcome, already! I admit, I’m guilty of hanging back a bit, to give her time to gain her footing, separate from me. Now, I would like to formerly introduce her, and hope her time on here is as enjoyable as my experience has been. Gather is a wonderful place, full of wonderful people. I ask everyone to give Linda a hand of encouragement, advice along the way, and most of all- a ‘smile’ would be nice! She stood with me, during a very difficult time, earlier this year. We both suffer from the loss of our hero, our dad, and are each working through our pain in different ways. This, I’m sure will show up often, in her writing- as it has mine, but your kindness has been great towards me. That is why I encouraged Linda to join. The compassion from everyone here is astounding!
