Found out the REAL cover art for my book will be done in about a week and the e-book is supposed to be ready about the same time...I'm pretty excited!

My husband made me a very happy women yesterday - no, not that kind of happy - I had an old friend stop by here on her way home and he not only met her and her husband but he took them out to lunch and we had a wonderful get-to-know-and-renew-an-old-friendship afternoon. I had never met her hubby, she had never met mine and we hadn't seen each other in about 15 years. It was really nice.

I just rested this weekend. I just hung out on Sat and Sun and did necessary stuff. Took naps and just tried to revive after the prior two weeks stress...the build up for Thanksgiving.

I'm pretty happy.
I got two injections in the facets of my lower back on the 19th. and it worked wonders to relieve the pain.
I got a lot of cleaning done since I feel so much better and can move around.
And I've lost 8.5 pounds.
So, it's been a good week for me.

Doing great here other than being cold. Looking forward to the day I wake up to the first snow of the year. My neice says we will get it by the end of the year here. I am kind of hoping for a white Christmas.

There were some pictures taken of me this weekend. I liked them because I was dressed up in a new outfit. We were going to a wedding. But I looked at my hair and went, "ewwww." It wasn't gray, it wasn't dark brown, it was some nothing color. So I took the plunge and colored it and I think it looks pretty good. It's just a shade or two lighter than my natural dark brown (and many shades darker than the gray parts).

I doing well, except I have very little $ left.
I was trying to do most of my Christmas Shopping Friday & Saturday.
So it will be a few couple of "slim" days until payday agail.
Oh well everything will be fine. and Payday is NOT that far away.

Danielle, I undestand about resting. I didn't wake up until 10:30 this morning!

Lera, I'm glad the injections are working for you. (Never did for me...but I probably already had the fibromyalgia going on and we didn't know it.)

Angela, I'll be happy to ship any snow we're supposed to get to you. You can have it all.

Vicky, so you took the plunge, huh? I'm always a bit happier when my hair doesn't have dozens of colors in it. (Wasn't bad when I was young blonde, but when there is white and gray mixed with all kinds of shades of blonde and light brown now... Yuck.)

Here is a secret: I'm secretly glad it's Monday and things will be back to the same old routine. We had Thanksgiving, a wedding and a birthday this weekend. I'm ready for kicking back and letting Oprah entertain me for a while today.

An old friend sent and email to the newspaper I work for. She didn't know I worked here and didn't know the email would end up in my inbox. I was so excited (not to mention surprised) to see her name on the email. I replied and we were both so happy to be reconnected. It is a small world!

Jenn's story reminds me of why I'm grateful for myspace.com. We had friends in the military years ago that we got very close to. They were Marines, we were Army. We all went our separate ways after three years together, and through the subsequent moves, we lost contact. I was really thinking about Molly lots and I knew her kids would be young adults, just the right age to have myspace pages. I joined myspace and found her son and daughter, and reconnected with them after all these years. Now we're planning to meet at Graceland in the future.

Hi. I'm just glad to look in on people. but about the shots in the lower back, they worked for me when I could afford them, and I have fibromyalgia. I think I'll be wanting a nap now, because if I don't have the energy to whine I must need one. :) good to see everyone.

I have a feeling we will be getting a bit of snow soon. It may say in the 40s here but it feels colder and my bones feel like we might get some. I have always been one to pray for snow at Christmas as i have sais in past post.

I understand about the nap, Katie. I feel like napping too. The sky is so gray today that it's a bit depressing. Plus, I had to take a pill for nausea last night and it's still kicking my butt.

Angela, I hope you have snow for Christmas. But I really hope we have very little snow this year in Cincinnati. Actually, no snow would be okay with me, but I know that won't happen.

I can understand the not wanting snow believe me but I guess when you watch movies at christmas and it shows on the movies at christmas time it just does not seem like a real christmas without it. Guess I am just in the mood for different this year. I think we all get that way at times. Don't you all?
