Where I'll be the Rest of the Year

Gentlefolk, I'm going to be offline for at least a week, starting late this week. I'm going to be driving from the East Coast to the West Coast. I doubt that I will have the energy to go online while I'm on the road. I should be back around December 10th.

After two weeks in California, I'm heading for Montana until after the first of the year. Then I get to drive back to the East Coast. Lots of miles in the car during which I can watch the scenery change and listen to books. It's amazing how recorded books can make the miles fly by. Of course the higher speed limit in the West doesn't hurt. [grin]

Those of you who know me will know how much energy this will require. I hope I'm able to do more than just sleep during January. The Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome do take their toll on this body. Making these trips are my way of refusing to let these diseases get me down.

Maureen - I hope you have a wonderful trip despite everthing. I love driving everywhere when ever the time permits. I hope someone is going with you too. Safer that way 'specially with you Fibromyalgia Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Take care and may God bless you with some well deserved health for your trip! We will miss you until your return - however we should get some good stories and some funny pictures?!

Get some Aloe Vera juice and drink it daily. You'll be glad you did. Have a nice safe comfortable trip.

I've traveled cross country several times (including VA to Montana) and the scenery is lacking in many places, especially after numerous times, but yes, recorded books make the time and miles fly! You make fewer stops that way, too!
