Scrooge - The Musical Opening Went Great!

Last night was opening night for Scrooge - The Musical.  We didn't have a packed house, but I think that will change in the next performances coming up!  We have a show this afternoon at 2:00 and I expect that will be sold out!  I was told I need to make my makeup darker, so I am going to let them do it for me today and see what I need to do.  I'd rather do my own makeup at home.  I hate not being ready.  Everything went really well, the entire show runs around 2 hours and 45 minutes!  It's hard moving around back stage in the dark.....  Something I'm going to have to learn to do really fast! LOL.....  There is a blue light back there for the techs, but unfortunately it can't be seen from all areas..  In some of the scene changes they do a stage black out and the actors have to get to their places on stage in the dark.  That's what I'm talking about, quite the challenge!  The good thing now is that we don't have practice 4 nights a week any more!  Actually I'm going to miss that,  I was getting my excercise with the dance rehearsals....   I am enjoying every aspect of doing this show and will be sorry when it is over! :-(   There will be more shows to come I'm sure!
