My husband's cousin Mark, always made this when we got together and grilled BBQ chicken. It's wonderful for chicken on the grill. Just keep basting with this until it's done. Mark is no longer with us but we think about him each time we use his recipe.
Mark's BBQ Sauce
stick of butter
1 cup vinegar
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 cup oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/3 teaspoon red pepper (more if you like it hotter)
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons worshestier sauce (sorry can't spell and neither could he)
Heat all together until butter melts and is hot through. Brush on chicken and grill, brushing often.

Donna, it's good on chicken and pork.
Dan, come on over, supposed to be warmer here in NC in the next few days. Maybe we'll fire up the grill.
Katrina, that's a hard word isn't it? LOL
thanks for this one.
Thanks Joan.
