One of the most popular sites in the Web 2.0 world is Squidoo. If you are not building sites to Squidoo, you are missing one of the quickest and easiest ways to build free traffic for your website or blog and make money online.

If you're not into squidoo and do some sort of marketing you are missing out big time.

Thank you for this, and the related article. I'd heard of Squidoo, but didn't quite grasp the concept. As a business builder just starting out, this is something that may serve me well to initiate leads.

Hey Lisa H, here's a tip: don't make a lens ON your business. Do it about a topic that your business is involved in or encompasses. Then have a link to your lens. You're more likely to find people searching for information about what ultimately your business provides, rather than the business itself.

With a lot of hard work & promoting my Baby & Kids Freebies lens made it to the top 100. It is, as of July 16, 2008, currently ranked #89. I can hardly believe it! I can only hope that the ranking stays above 100 for awhile so I can enjoy it for a bit longer. Maybe I will create a lens to chronical how I did it. It took me exactly 43 days to make it in the top 100... Click here to get to the lens

Good to know. I have a proprietary blog program developed for my site, but am incorporating all outside sites to promote my site. I'm still building my first lens, and it's going OK, I think, its just kinda a block in my mind right now.

I love Squidoo as well. Way to go Teddi. My best lens so far is The Rainbow . It is currently 794 overall and 27 in entertainment.
