My husband is a Parkinson's patient who also has several heart related problems. As you may know, I took him to the emergency room on Thursday November 15th because he was having chest pains and breathing problems. We stayed in the first hospital (I stayed with him) from Thursday night through Monday and transferred to a second hospital on Monday morning. Fortunately he was discharged late Wednesday afternoon just in time for me to start work on Thanksgiving dinner. We have much to be thankful for.
Although I’ve been running on caffeine and exhaustion for the last few days, I wanted to take a minute to say thank you to Connie C for getting word to all my gather friends (I sent her an email to explain my absence) and to acknowledge all of the hugs, prayers, messages and comments from the gather community. As you can imagine I have received an overwhelming number of gather mail messages, emails and voice mail messages in addition to the usual deluge of junk mail courtesy of the US Postal Service. In self defense, I'm quickly browsing through the unimportant correspondence, while stopping to savor the comments and personal messages from my friends and connections.
I promise to write an update as soon as I catch my breath and get my head on straight.
