Beowulf - Not so great

I saw the new Beowulf movie this past week. It was good, but not that good. The technology behind taking real actors and turning them into cartoon characters was kind of neat, but the graphics were often inconsistent, so it was distracting. In the end, I'm glad the movie got made and the story was out there, but I think the technology got in the way of what could have made this a lot better movie.

Thanks for sharing your opinion on this. It's a story I'm familiar with, and one of the screenwriters is Neil Gaimon, who I like quite a bit. I'm also a fan of the art direction they used in this, and am looking forward to seeing it in the near future. :)

Oh no! I was really looking forward to seeing this too but I guess I won't waste my money at the theater. I will just wait till it comes out on video.
