Many people love to dance... thought it would be interesting to find out why everyone loves to dance. What inspires you to dance?

Dancing helps me relax and it also makes me feel the sense of accomplishment (even if I can't dance well, atleast I tried) and I love getting up and dancing to almost any kind of beat. Someday I'd like to dance with my man if life allows such an act (as he states he can't dance well), but oh well.... I just love to get up and dance... What about everyone else? What inspires you to dance? ;)

soft slow music with a lovely rhythm and the scent of a man ,my husband, his aftershave , his arms around me, his body against mine, his hand holding mine, his lips touching my neck, then the music just takes us and glides us across the heavens in my dreams,

when I am awake, I just need to hear music, and my foot starts to tap and I dance along with any music playing, there is music in my soul, and in my mind, it keeps me going, I love to dance, can you tell?

I don't dance unless I'm drunk. Which is not much... I rarely drink at all, especially with an ulcer!

As a music lover, music is playing usually everywhere that I am and in doing so I feel the need to dance and move around with some of the music that I play. If I'm not dancing, I am constantly moving and bobbing my head when sitting and sometimes just feeling the music causes me to get up and dance alone or to pick up one of my cats to dance with. I LOVE music of all types, genres, languages, styles, etc.

Any time I can be alone with my wife inspires me to hold her and sway. Not sure it is exactly dancing though.

My sons inspire me to dance...when they were younger we'd dance to music from a myriad of places, radio...tv....CD's....even movie scores. My oldest is "too cool" to still dance but just the other day I danced with my youngest to the music from Christmas Vacation we had a blast and it's a great memory for me! thanks for this post...it made me smile today! :-D

love all music and it prompts deep emotions for me but the one that makes me dance is that old time rock and roll. Don't need a partner, use a wooden chair.
