Another updated wish list

Ok, here's my updated list.

(bold=need, underlined=will need in the future, italics=things i want)

1. a second car

2. someone to clean house for me (or the time/energy to do it myself!)

3. gift cards for rue21

4. wal-mart gift cards - i received a gift card from a friend on gather.. thanks!

5. clothes for my daughter to grow into (she's in 9-12 mos right now)

6. new king sized sheets and comforter - my mom is planning to buy us a comforter

7. new shoes for my husband (or coupons to a shoe store) - WE BOUGHT THESE, DON'T NEED THEM ANYMORE

8. to make friends with another young mom in my area

9. plug-in scented thingies to make my house smell good

10. size 4 diapers & unscented wipes

Sounds like your list is slowly getting smaller! :) Congrats! I wish I lived closer to you. It would be nice to have another young mom in my area too!

I should probably think about compiling a wish list -- I never seem to actually remember until a week before Christmas when people abruptly ask me 'by the way, what do you want?' Most of the time, I get cash, I put it towards expenses, and things work out, though.

I can help with #8, but you'll need to do the legwork , or should I say fingerwork? To make friends with other young moms in your area, you should try Mamasource.com. Registration is free. I've met some great people there and have gotten some new business from the site as well. You do NOT have to be a business owner to join, but if you have a business there is a directory where you can post your business for free as well as other perks.
