We went to Loch Lomond today

Very interesting place, as you mentioned it in such a dramatic way, you made me so eager to pay a visit to this area and W Wallace Monument.

I love Loch Lomond. Last summer, the oldest daughter of a very good friend got married at the Duck Bay Marina where he keeps his boat. The wedding photographs were magical with the water and the Ben in the background.

I remember trips up and down the Loch when we were chldren - my granny invariably got seasick and wanted off the boat, but we had to wait until it returned to the Balloch end. She once persuaded the boat skipper to put in at Luss to let her off and then my Dad had to drive round to collect her from there!
