Hi everyone,
I got back from London a few days ago. It was my first trip. The friend I was travelling with humored me by letting me wander through a few places I'd heard about in romance novels-- although she did occasionally ask "Why are we here?"
So, I
-popped into Hyde Park and saw the Serpentine,
-wandered through Berkely Square, down Bond Street (to the old section), up Picaddilly (and stopped into Waterstone-- the largest bookstore I've ever been in)
-sat in Covent Garden and had mulled wine and watched a balloon dancer (she was attached to a small hot air balloon)
- visited the Tower of London,
- took a day trip to Bath
-visited Windsor (and Stonehenge on the same trip)
- took a Jack the Ripper tour.
We did some other things, but this is how reading romance novels have now even begun to affect my travels!
