How did you do on your Black Friday shopping?

I wasn't that impressed with the sales this year and I don't do the Walmart - Target - Best Buy craziness on Black Friday but I do like to go out and look.

First stop was Michael's a little before six. I got a Cricut scrapbooking machine for my daughter for $129. According to my daughter,this is an awesome price and it must have been because I got the second to last one. Picked up a whole bunch of other scrapbooking stuff and a few other things and used my 25% off coupon.

Then headed over to the mall. Went to Bath and Body Works and spent $30 to get the free gift. I had a $10 gc they had sent me and then used another gift card there so nothing out of pocket and got three nice gifts plus the free one they were giving out.

Then to Macy's and got a couple of small Christmas ornaments and a small Macy's snowglobe for my son.  

Then to Disney store and Megan got Christmas gifts for the kids she babysits for and a few other things.

Then over to Five Below. They had calendars for $3.00 (the same ones that are $12 and $15 everywhere else) and a few other things.  

Went to Panera's,got a bagel and some tea and headed home.

I feel good because all the big gifts are now done with a lot of my other gifts I have to get.

They were giving out snacks and water at the mall and it wasn't extremely crowded so I enjoyed the morning. I gave up going to Kohl's on Black Friday because I couldn't stand the crowding, pushing and shoving, people who get up to the register with $500 in merchandise and then proceed to tell the cashier they want to use their husband's credit card, and they'll call him on the cell phone and of course,he's not answering (yes, I was stuck behind this two years ago) and anythng I want to get there, they'll still have tomorrow.
