Just Got Done With The Day After Thanksgiving Sale At The Mall

Wow!  So I get to the mall at 9PM because someone said that the 1st 500 people to get to the mall would be given gift bags & random people would be given Nintento Wii's.  So I was waiting in line & brrrr it was freezing!  Immediatly I made friends with the people behind me ;o).  They were so nice.  It was a lady & her daughter & her daughter's guy friend (they were 16 years old).  I found out that we belonged to the same church so that was really cool!  Anyways, so the kids would walk off to check things happenin' at the mall outside (the mall was opening at 1AM.).  So the mom invited me to share their lawn chairs.  It was so nice to have such friendly people to stand in line with!  There were radio stations giving away prizes all around the mall.  The line keeps moving up & we think people are leaving here & there.  I even saw this lady that had a baby (around maybe 1 or 2?) that didn't even have a HAT on!  I was ready to give the hat I had on for that child!  :o(.  I told the lady I had waited in line with outside that I hardly get out & it was nice to be able to do this cause I hardly get away from the house, because I have 2 kids 3 & under.  I still can't believe some people brought their kids!  Well it nears 12:30 PM & the line had moved up a lot, and my husband text messages me on my cell phone & told me that the radio station said that the 500 people were chosen & that they had to call in to get the VIP pass in the mall (to be 1st).  SO LAME!  Oh well I figured I would still see what the other stores have to offer ;o). 

So I get into the mall & it was literally CRAZY!  We were all stuck in the enterance & it was so hard to get through the crowd!  I finally got to the stairs & went up to where there were not as many people!  It literally was a sea of people (I later heard people were hitting and pushing etc)!  Well I walk around trying to find my store only to find out it was on the bottom level!  I was like GREAT!  So I wait for the elevator (I wasn't going to do stairs after what happened in the front!) & that thing was so slow!!  I get to the Disney Store & there was a line to get in, because they could only have so many people in the store at once...I kinda snuck in and l head to the back of the store not even looking at the front (cause the deals are usually in the back of the store...right?  WRONG!)  Well I am in the back & I am finding some things to get.  Everything was 20% off.  But wait, then some things were 40-50% off.  Someone tells me it's 40-50% off + the 20% off!  So some things were 60-70% off!  I went crazy then just filling my bag with lots of things LOL!  Then like Disney does at their themeparks they had us wrap around the walls for the line because it was so freakin' long!  I ended up at the enterance of the store & I had to walk around the store...(their way to get us to buy more I am sure LOL).  So yeah as I am walking around & seeing 50% at the front of the store I had to have it all haha!  Not really, but I did buy more that is for sure.  I may take back some of the pajamas, but not sure (I bought 5 pairs at $7.99 ea + 20% off).  I had some great people in line with me that held my place if I wanted to look at a rack or what not.  You really meet some nice people when you are out & about like this.   Well at the Disney Store I ended up spending $117!  Not sure if we will keep it all LOL ;o).  But hey we would probably spend that on our kids for Christmas anyways... ;o).  I got done there around 2:45 AM & tried to find Bath & Body Works.  I was disappointed because they were closed :o(.  Oh well I spent enough at Disney. 

When I got to my car it was frosted over & the parking lot was just littered with trash everywhere!  People can be so disrespectful!  I got home at 3:30 AM & I need to get to bed!  ;o)  Night yall & have fun shopping today on Black Friday!!!
