The one thing I got out of that book was a generic casserole recipe. I'll have to dig around to find it. But it I do, I'll post it here. It was fabulous. It had categories from which to choose, for example, pasta/rice/potato category...a vegetable category...a sauce category (cream soups etc.)...a meat category...and a flavoring/seasoning category. I used that for years. You could make an infinite number of casseroles with this type of recipe.
And we still basically eat the way it suggests in this pdf. Of course, over the years we have learned to make our sauces from scratch, so we don't buy those any more unless I'm really strapped for time. We stay away from most processed foods this way.
