Some stores are open on Thanksgiving!

I've been seeing commercials all evening for some stores like KMart that will be open on Thanksgiving. Kmart has a couple of things that are great buys that I want, so I might go. I have to be up by 6am to put my turkey in the oven anyway, so I might as well put the bird in the oven and go shop for a bit while my hubby stays home with our son.

Will you be doing any shopping on Thanksgiving day?

Not unless I realize that I forgot a critical ingredient. That happens all the time to me. I think all of our grocery stores are open for at least most of the day.

No Way - It is my only day off other than Sunday this week and I for one am going to take full advantage of it. I am not even cooking as we were invited to my best friends home. I will just sit aound in my jammies and watch the parade until noon time when we will head over to play games and await the gorge fest - i mean dinner at 4 p.m.

KMart is on the way to my mothers but I haven't decided if I feel like stopping or not, Our outlet mall opens for Black Friday at midnight tomorrow so I may hold out for that

I think it's crazy. What about their employees? Maybe they want to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families . . .

I might. Garden Ridge has the mini loaf pans that have holiday motifs for a really good price and I need to get some for work presents again this year. I might just wait until tomorrow.

I might, since we celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday. My husband is at work now, and I have a cranky son who when I take him out is a sweet little angel. I may need to get out to save my sanity!

I didn't go shopping, but sent my daughter to pick up a couple of ingredients I forgot. I'm not going shopping on Black Friday either. Not if someone was to pay me...lol

I know! Someone I know works for Kmart and had to work all day. That is awful in my opinion. those employees will never re-gain that time with family and special people. When people get older they don't show photos of work, it's days like these that they will want to remember.

Sad people have to work. Unless they want to. I have done both, and honestly, not working is far better.
