The Greater Nassau Chorus Finishes 7th in the World!
(Baldwin, NY) The Greater Nassau Chorus of Sweet Adelines International is excited to announce its 7th place finish at the 61st Annual Sweet Adelines International competition in Calgary, Canada October 9 through 13, 2007.

Greater Nassau (GNC) was one of 34 choruses competing on the International Stage in Calgary with other choruses from Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, England, Sweden and the United States. The 7th place finish was a personal best over GNC's 10th place finish at the 2005 international competition in Detroit, Michigan.

It's an exciting time to be a part of Greater Nassau Chorus! Come down to a rehearsal on Tuesday evenings between 7:00 and 10:00 PM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Grand Avenue in Baldwin. The chorus is offering voice lessons, A Cappella 101, a weekly voice class designed to introduce the singer to A Cappella singing in 4-part barbershop harmony.

Mark your calendars! Greater Nassau's annual show will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 8pm at West Hempstead High School.
