Say good bye, hugs and kisses.
Go home. Not too bad. We only live two doors from daughter so we won't have to worry about traffic.

Spend time with the family, eat alot of turkey, and watch alot of football!

Have a wonderfully happy Thanksgiving Lydia. Count your blessings and thank God for being able to live in the USA.

My wife and I will probably go to the home of one of her friends for the big meal. Other than that I'll probably do some Gather looking for more readers, watch some video of my last year's boy basketball team, read, go for a walk. In other words have a great time. (I'm a cheap date. :-)

It's one of the few times of the year that both the wife and I get to work together in the kitchen,, she's the worker bee now,, so we'll be putting together a spread for dinner and spending it at home...with my son and daughter too...and probably my little brother--when it comes to free food he is like johnny on the spot!!!

oh, I'll be eating cake and ice cream this year too, about every 20 or so years this happens...

Have a great day Lydia. I have an appointment with the Coumadin Clinic today so I gotta go get cleaned up and get ready to go. It's 30 miles away so off I go to get my blood checked. If the VA would learn how to combine appointments just think how much money would be saved on gasoline. But since it's my money I don't foresee any changes any time soon.

This year there's a number of family in a house I don't have to clean or cook in. So it will be relaxing and fun watching a bunch or rug rats playing.

Quite different that a few years ago when it was Boys Thanksgiving Out

Does global warming reduce the cook time for the turkey?

Visit, cook, eat, eat, visit, nap, get up and eat, visit, repeat. Everyone is coming to our house. My kids are already home, a day earlier than expected, so those I work with will have a hard time ruining my day today. I haven't seen either of them yet, as they were sleeping when I headed out to work.

Thanking and Eating.

I'll get up and start some last minute cooking while I watch the parade off and on.. gonna make some deviled eggs and a veggie platter, green been casserole, chocolate cream pie, and oatmeal raisin chocolate chip cookies. I'll do the cookies and the pie today and boil the eggs and tomorrow will make the deviled eggs and GBC and stuff. Then we're going to my sis's for dinner.. watch some football..(them, not me) talk and viiit.. eat, eat and more eat.. nap.. do a little online karaoke dueting with my sister, and then home ..to eat my leftovers LOL

This is the first Thanksgiving without my husband of 56 years, so this is going to be difficult, but one day at a time, He died last Dec, 2006, I am going to go to my daughter's home for dinner, she just got operated on for cancer and we hope they got it all, so, we must count our blessings and Thank God for all we do have, I wish you all a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving.

my husband has to work tomorrow, but they are only supposed to be there a 1/2 day. He starts work at 4am, so he should be off by 9:30. SO while he is working I will be getting some things together. Then we will head off to a friends house for Thanksgiving dinner.
I'll probably watch the parade, or as much of it as I can between cooking, and before we leave.

Harrel, yes. The VA would save our country TONS of oil if they'd do that... but if they tried they'd just add another level of bureaucracy to attempt it, and it would probably get worse instead of better. Drive safely!

David, thanks. Yes... Joey's doing fine. Several of his friends used it as an excuse to skip school and are at the hospital now keeping him company. I feel sorry for the nurses... LOL

Eating Thanksgiving dinner with family.

We only have hubby's daughter for a few hours mid-day Thursday and all day Friday. I'm considering not doing the turkey until Friday. Guess we'll see.

Me and my parents were planning to go visit my aunt and her ill husband on Thanksgiving, but it's not working out because he really not well and needs to rest. So, we have to come up with something else to do. If anything we are always welcome to join my sister-in-law's parents for dinner.

Marilyn, not do the turkey 'til Friday? But then it's not Thanksgiving Day any more! We always have our Thanksgiving meal mid-day... but if she's going to be expected to eat somewhere else that could be rough.

Macy's parade while hanging in bed with my snuggly dog. Then off to pick up my parents and head to my brother's for dinner. It makes for a lot of driving for me, but I'd rather not have my dad drive all the way out to my brother's house. It'll take about 30 minutes to get from my house to theirs. An hour to my brother's from their house, and then back again. Lots of yummy food, though.

Probably cooking, watching the parade, and relaxing.

Breakfast at the Pancake House with my in-laws. Then a 45 minute drive to my grandmother's and ackward silences/conversation before a late lunch there with my family (the traditional turkey, potatoes, gravy, etc.) and then at about 4 p.m. back to the in-laws for cards and yet another Thanksgiving meal. Lord, have mercy on our waisstlines.

Jessica, I hear you on the waist. I don't want to waste, but if I don't... it WILL inhabit my waist, LOL

We will all be meeting up at my brother and sister-in-law's house as we do every year. There is usually about 40 of us there. It is always a great time. I love Thanksgiving - I love turkey - it is my favorite!!!

Wow, Lisa! That's a large enough gathering to make me feel really nervous. I'm a "small and intimate group" sort of person. (Unless I'm performing, then 40 or more people are a good thing! LOL)
