I'll be up early to cook and stuff... but other than that, the Thanksgiving holiday will probably be pretty uneventful as usual. We don't go anywhere any more because the cost of gas is prohibitive even to just go upstate to my in-laws. My husband only gets the one day off, so if we did go out of town we'd have to come back right quick.
But enough about me and mine. Tell me about you and yours!

Take pictures.
Say good bye, hugs and kisses.
Go home. Not too bad. We only live two doors from daughter so we won't have to worry about traffic.
oh, I'll be eating cake and ice cream this year too, about every 20 or so years this happens...
Quite different that a few years ago when it was Boys Thanksgiving Out
Have a wonderful holiday, Lydia.
I hope Joe's doing okay now.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING
I'll probably watch the parade, or as much of it as I can between cooking, and before we leave.
This will be the first Thanksgiving without our son, so we know how you must be feeling.
Harrel, you're so funny. It's nice to live near your relatives!
: )
Chuck, that's probably about how the day will go here.
Larry, that sounds very peaceful.
Randee, cake and ice cream? Is that because there's a birthday celebration going on?
Harrel, yes. The VA would save our country TONS of oil if they'd do that... but if they tried they'd just add another level of bureaucracy to attempt it, and it would probably get worse instead of better. Drive safely!
John, lucky you! LOL
David, thanks. Yes... Joey's doing fine. Several of his friends used it as an excuse to skip school and are at the hospital now keeping him company. I feel sorry for the nurses... LOL
Tyler, sounds like you have a large and possibly opinionated family. Enjoy!
David! LOL
J.G., do the people you work with usually TRY to ruin your day?
Thanks, Ellen. You have a good one, too. In fact, I think I forgot to say it, so:
HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!
Suze... I have got to get set up with a microphone so I can try that online karaoke. Sounds like fun!
Anne, you have my sincere condolences on the loss of your husband. You are right about counting our blessings - today I'm thankful that I followed my instinct and took Joe to the hospital yesterday!
Thanks, JoAnne... to you too!
Marilyn, not do the turkey 'til Friday? But then it's not Thanksgiving Day any more! We always have our Thanksgiving meal mid-day... but if she's going to be expected to eat somewhere else that could be rough.
Lena, I'm sorry to hear your uncle is sick. We'll add him to our prayers.
Drive safely, Sandy! Thanks... and the same back to you and everyone else.
: )

Sarah, sounds like the order of the day here, too... for the most part.
Well, Randee, Happy Thanksgiving Birthday to your birthday boy! Have you got some pictures up? I'll have to go look.
Richard, when you figure it out... lemme in on the secret, okay?
have a Swanson Turkey TV dinner, ... in celebration of the Holiday
Other than that, it's back to figuiring out how best to rob Peter,
to pay Paul
Kirk, if you're in South Florida, we'd be honored to have you join us.
